ICU Equipment

ICU equipments are medical tools used to warm new born infants who are unable to successfully control their body temperature. This may be the result of a number of factors, including preterm delivery, low body weight, or infections. Usually, the apparatus comprises of a heated warming bed or mattress that regulates temperature. In neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) and other medical facilities where infants need specialised treatment, ICU equipments are largely used. The machine's warmth aids in avoiding hypothermia, which can cause severe complications in new borns. Some baby warmer devices also have extra features like humidity and oxygen control.
