Product Description
Double surface phototherapy unit is a medical device used to cure new born jaundice. Two light-emitting screens that produce blue light with a wavelength between 430 and 490 nm make up this device. In order to break down bilirubin, a substance that can accumulate in the blood and cause jaundice, the screens are positioned on either side of the infant's body. The bilirubin in the skin is absorbed by the blue light used in phototherapy and changed into an excretable state. The double surface phototherapy unit's double surface construction enables greater coverage of the infant's body and more effective jaundice treatment.
